Netflix is back again with another Nawazuddin Siddiqui offering!
The streaming giant will be premiering the film ‘Serious Men’, an adaptation of Manu Joseph’s book of the same name.
Serious Men will be releasing on October 2. It will tell the rags to riches story of an ambitious slum dweller who tries to use his son’s newfound fame as a boy-genius to improve his family’s fortunes.
Directed by Sudhir Mishra, Serious Men also stars Aakshath Das, Shweta Basu Prasad, Nassar and Indira Tiwari in pivotal roles, apart from Nawazuddin.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui also expressed his excitement at fulfilling his lifelong dream of working with Sudhir Mishra.
He said, “This is my third project with Netflix and returning to the streaming service always feels like homecoming. I am excited about this film as I waited almost 20 years to work with Sudhir Mishra. It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait for the audience to watch Serious Men and join this journey with me, this Gandhi Jayanti.”
Siddiqui was last seen in Netflix’s crime-thriller ‘Raat Akeli Hai’.
