Salman Khan bets big for the third installment of the Tiger franchise!

While Salman Khan & producer Aditya Chopra are keeping the details of the third instalment of the Tiger franchise under wraps, however they are not leaving any chances to make it bigger than EVER!

The humongous success of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai makes Chopra even more excited & ambitious to envision the next story on an even bigger scale.

According to sources, the next movie will be shot in seven countries. The producer has already asked the director, Maneesh Sharma to begin the recce before the year-end.

“If everything goes as planned, Maneesh Sharma and his team will conduct a recce across the UAE, Istanbul and the US in December. The rest of the countries have yet to be pencilled in. Tiger 3 is close to Adi’s heart as he has developed the screenplay along with Jaideep Sahni. Despite the industry slowdown, Adi is certain that the film has the makings of a blockbuster. Maneesh and he want to take it on floors by February,” says a source.

The movie featuring Sallu & Kat in the lead is probably going to hit the theatres on Christmas 2021.

While the lead remains the same like the previous instalments, the casting team has begun the hunt for the perfect antagonist to Salman Khan‘s RAW officer Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger. Since the current scenario does not allow real time auditions, the team put the word out requesting aspiring actors to send their portfolio for applying for the role.

“They want to cast a relatively new face as the villain, like they did with Sajjad Delafrooz and Sal Yusuf in Tiger Zinda Hai,” added the source.

The movie was supposed to be unveiled as a part of YRF Project 50 on Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary on September 27, but there are chances it might be postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
