A press conference was held on Thursday which involved the makers of BB14, Salman Khan and ex contestants like Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Gauhar Khan. During the live press conference, the ‘Dabangg’ actor spoke on topics that required urgent recognition such as unemployment during the COVID-19 outbreak. Khan also states that his main purpose of anchoring Bigg Boss 14 is because a massive number of people can get employment in many sectors of the show – marketing, production, digital and more.

The main reason for as to why the actor is accepting a pay cut in his salary this season is so that other salaries can be paid off in full. Salman mentions that he was more than okay in accepting a cut as long as it helps other people to get their salaries.
