Sonu Sood’s Character In Telugu Hit Kandireega Sequel Is Inspired By His Philanthropic Work

The man of the people Sonu Sood, along with his wife Sonali, hopped on a jet to Hyderabad on Sunday.

Upon reaching the city, around 20 people were stood there, awaiting their arrival.

“I heard them out and tried to solve their problems before making my way back to the hotel,” Sood stated as per a report by Mumbai Mirror. Sonu Sood has been up and about helping the country’s migrant workers reach their hometowns post the lockdown ruckus.

Owing to the actor’s big heart and philanthropic work over the past 6 months, the makers of his Telugu film found inspiration which they will be adding to their project which is a sequel of Kandireega, the 2011 hit.

Talking about the same, Sonu shares, Despite having already completed 80% of the film, the filmmakers decided to make my character larger than life based on the work that I’ve been doing. I’ll be facing the camera for the first time today and it will be with all new dialogues.”

Post the scheduled one week shoot for this film, Sood plans on making his return to Mumbai on the 7th or 8th of October, to resume his Prithviraj shoot. “Then I will return to Hyderabad. I also have a few ads to shot for, which I will do in the evenings. Over the next few months, I’ll have to work double shifts.”

The actor also added that his busy shoot routine won’t stop him from lending a helping hand to people. “I’ll miss out on connecting with them when I return to the sets. But I have given access to all my social media handles to my teams who will ensure that surgeries, admissions and help continue. My work won’t stop.
