With cinemas reopening from October 15 at 50% seating capacity, speculations are rife as to which films will release first.
However, now two films have definitely confirmed their October theatrical releases with official announcement posters! Check them out!
PM Narendra Modi
The first release, or should we say, re-release will be the Vivek Oberoi-starrer PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on the prime minister. It will be the “first film” to hit the theatres on October 15, after Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
The movie was first released in theatres on May 24 2019. It also stars Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Barkha Bisht, Rajendra Gupta and Zarina Wahab.
Khaali Peeli
Ishaan Khatter-Ananya Panday starrer Khaali Peeli already had an OTT premiere on ZeePlex, on 2nd October. It was also screened at drive-in theatres in Gurugram and Bengaluru.
It will now release in cinemas on 16th October.
