After the success of Stree, Amar Kaushik announced his next project “Bhediya” starring Varun Dhawan, and was looking for the perfect female lead.
Reports suggests that Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Varun Dhawan.
Initially there were speculations that Kaushik was keen on roping in Shraddha Kapoor, who collaborated with him on Stree but Kriti Sanon is said to be the current choice. Kriti is close to the producer Dinesh Vijan and has collaborated with him for the movie Raabta, alongside Sushant Singh Rajput.
Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan have shared screen space in Dilwale and she had also featured in the Aira gaira track in Kalank along with Dhawan.
