Sidharth Malhotra to star in ad filmmaker Shantanu Bagchi’s film based on a true event

While Sidharth Malhotra waits for the release of his next film, Shershaah, he has signed three back to back films in the action genre.

Thadam, the Hindi remake of Tamil action thriller, a remake of Allu Arjun’s DJ and espionage thriller with Ronnie Screwvala‘s RSVP is already in his kitty already and now Sidharth has signed another project based on a true event.

According to Hindi film journalist, Rahul Raut, Sidharth has locked a project with  Shantanu Bagchi, based on a true event.  “Sidharth Malhotra locks his next… It’s a film based on a true event, directed by ad filmmaker Shantanu Baghchi and produced by @amarbutala… Further details awaited!!” Rahul tweeted.

The upcoming release of Sidharth features him with his rumored girlfriend, Kiara Advani, The film was supposed to release in July but got delayed due to the lockdown. The latest release date is yet to be announced.
