Known for his quirky script choices, Ayushmann Khurrana can easily be called as ‘Versatile Khurrana’.
The 36-year-old actor is reportedly heading from social comedies to romantic comedies and might pair opposite Sara Ali Khan.
According to a source of Mid-Day, Dinesh Vijan might cast Ayushmann and Sara in his next romantic comedy movie. All the details including the release date are kept under wraps.
The source quoted, “Considering it has Ayushmann leading from the front, the film — though belonging to the rom-com genre — may well drive an important message home. Ayushmann will follow up Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui with Anubhav Sinha’s next before training his sights on this movie.”
The report also revealed, “Sara has finished her promotions for Coolie No 1, and is expected to kick off the shoot of Atrangi Re soon. The project is in the last leg of discussion.”
While there is no confirmation yet, the movie is in the last stage of discussions and may go on floors by early 2021.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann’s last release was Soojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ while Sara was last seen with Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’.
