Ranbir Kapoor is now head over heels for Alia Bhatt but this heartthrob has had his fair share of dates, mind you, hilarious ones.
With a certain nostalgia, Ranbir revealed on The Kapil Sharma Show that his first date wasn’t all perfect.
During an audience interaction, a fan asked Ranbir if he remembered his first date. That was when Kapoor spilled the beans on the story of how he found out that his date didn’t trust him.
Ranbir was only in the 8th grade at that time when he had gone to a friend’s terrace party. He found his girlfriend sobbing in the corner. The surrounding was romantic as the sun was setting. “Main wahaan gaya, hero ke jaise, aur bola (I went there, like a hero, and asked), ‘Why are you crying?’ She said, ‘Because I don’t trust you,’” shared the actor.
He continued saying, “Wahaan main kuch hakka bakka ho gaya. Mujhe pata nahi tha ki main kya bolun. Trust Matlab kaise paaun? Toh maine seedha haath bahar nikaala aur bola (I was a little bewildered. I did not know what to say and how to gain her trust, so I stretched my hand out towards her and asked), ‘Now do you trust me?’ That was my first date.”
However, when Kapil asked Ranbir to narrate the next sequence of the story, the actor admitted that he never saw the girl ever again.
