“Ayeeee coolie… coolie… coolie…”– The much-awaited trailer of ‘Coolie No 1’ is finally here.
Few hours back, Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, and Paresh Rawal launched the trailer of their upcoming movie ‘Coolie No 1’.
Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of ‘Coolie No 1’. This David Dhawan directorial masala entertainer movie is all set to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on 25th December, 2020.
The trailer begins with Paresh Rawal in search of India’s richest groom for his daughter Sara Ali Khan and then he finds Varun Dhawan, who cons him into believing that he is a wealthy prospect. Check it out:
In this movie, Varun will be seen as a new-age coolie, getting into multiple colorful avatars. Earlier his week Varun and Sara shared the quirky poster of their upcoming movie.
In the trailer, we can see Varun and Sara grooving into the recreation of two iconic numbers, ‘Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha’ and ‘Husn Hain Suhana’.
Apart from Sara and Varun, this movie also features Paresh Rawal, Sahil Vaid, Rajpal Yadav, Javed Jaffrey, Johnny Lever amongst others. Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh have bankrolled this movie.
This movie marks David Dhawan’s 45th movie.
For the unversed, ‘Coolie No 1’ is a remake of the iconic movie of the same name, starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. This movie which was released in 1995, was directed by David Dhawan.
‘Coolie No 1’ was scheduled to release on 1st May but got postponed due to coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Varun is currently busy shooting for ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’, co-starring Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Singh. On the other hand, Sara is currently busy with Anand L. Rai’s movie ‘Atrangi Re’
