Newlyweds Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal are having a great time discovering the married life and the former has gotten candid about it in a Spotboye interview.
The couple tied the knot at Mumbai’s ISKCON temple and they couldn’t seem happier in their pictures.
Aditya shares, “The wedding was wonderful. Mostly family and very few friends, given the restrictions. We invited as many as we could. It was at ISKCON Juhu. I had to wear my friend’s pyjama. Mine tore while I was being lifted to put the garland on Shweta. So I had to wear his for the pheras. Luckily my friend and I are of similar build.”
Talking about how married life feels Aditya says, “It feels great! We are lucky to have found each other and to have grown and been together for so many years. I have bought a new 5 BHK in Andheri itself, three buildings away from my folks and we are moving in 3-4 months from now. My parents will be just a hop away.”
Dad Udit Narayan couldn’t be more elated as per Aditya. “He is thrilled. I am the only son. And my parents couldn’t wait for me to get married.”
“Honeymoon is an elaborate phased one. Since I have to be back in Mumbai every week for the shoot we are doing three mini vacay’s. Shillim, Sula vineyards and Gulmarg,” Aditya mentions when asked about his honeymoon plans.
Aditya and Shweta’s reception looks were dapper as Aditya was clad in a black tuxedo while Shweta dazzled the crowd in a red floor-length gown with heavy diamond jewellery.
The couple were seen welcoming guests along with their parents, singer Udit Narayan and mother Deepa.
Among those who attended Aditya and Shweta’s wedding reception included Govinda with wife Sunita and children Tina and Yashvardhan, and comedian Bharti Singh with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
Inside videos sourced from HT from the reception showed Aditya and Shweta in the middle of a romantic dance with Aditya kissing her forehead. Aditya also danced to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye. Udit also danced with his wife on Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’s Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna. Both songs were originally sung by the veteran singer. Aditya and Shweta’s wedding took place on December 1. Given the Covid-19 restrictions, it was a small affair with only 50 guests present.
