Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan’s upcoming drama-comedy ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ also starring Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had gone on floors last month in Chandigarh.
However, as per Filmfare, the filming has been halted as 3 lead members of the cast have tested Covid-19 Positive!
Though the work on the shoot was resumed with full precautions and safety guidelines, this unfortunate incident has taken place.
A source close to the project revealed that Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Varun Dhawan along with director Raj Mehta had contracted the Coronavirus. The shooting has been stopped till the members recover their health.

Jug Jug Jeeyo’s cast also includes Youtuber Prajakata Koli and Maniesh Paul. The movie is said to be a dramedy that revolves around the lives of two couples of different generations, played by Varun and Kiara, Anil and Neetu. The situational comedy, spun around a North Indian family promises to be a riot, with the older couple’s strained relationship bringing lots of laughs.
