The shooting of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo‘ had come to a standstill after Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta tested positive for Covid-19.
While these actors recover from Covid-19, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani will resume shooting for the film.
According to a report after the film hit a roadblock, it was becoming difficult to get the combination dates of actors again. So, Anil, Kiara, and Prajakta Koli are likely to begin filming their portions by later this week. The report added that the team of assistant directors, under the able guidance of producer Shashank Khaitan, is eyeing to kick off the shoot by December 17.
Varun, Neetu and Raj are still recovering. Once they test negative and are fit, they will be resuming work.
The film will mark the return of Neetu Kapoor to films seven years after starring ‘Besharam’ which also featured her late husband Rishi Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor.
