So naturally, whenever the two are together on sets… trouble is double and so is the masti! Here’s a fun throwback to a prank that Akshay Kumar pulled on Riteish Deshmukh and Vidya Balan while shooting the 2007 comedy-drama ‘Hey Babyy’…
While promoting their film Housefull 4 on The Kapil Sharma Show, Riteish recalled how Akshay had pulled his leg by trying to set him up with Vidya Balan!
Riteish said, “While we were shooting for Heyy Babyy, Akshay secretly took my phone and texted Vidya Balan, saying ‘I love you muah, muah, muah’. The funny part was that Vidya replied back writing ‘Muaaa Muaaa Muaaa’ (kisses)'”
Riteish had been surprised by Vidya’s texts but later got to know that it was all Akshay’s doing.
“When I saw the message, I was taken aback, wondering why Vidya sent the message to me, without knowing a message had gone to her from my phone. It was later that I figured that both our phones were with Akshay. He always plays pranks with all of us,” he added.
On being called out for the prank, Akshay had reacted saying, “Mazaa aata hai masti karne mein (it’s fun playing pranks).”
