Netflix’s The White Tiger stars Priyanka Chopra, Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav in the lead. The movie is all set to release on the 22nd of January.
The trailer of The White Tiger was released just yesterday (Monday), and it’s as socially intense as possible.
Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao play the roles of a rich married couple, who have been living with their family in India after returning from the US for their business. Adarsh Gourav plays the role of their poor driver named Balram Halwai.
The trailer opens windows to observe and understand all the different social classes. Directed by Ramin Bahrani, the film is an adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning debut novel of the same name.
Sharing a still from the film which gave her fans a first glimpse of her character’s look, Priyanka captions, “This is a story that needs to be told and it comes alive with its characters so compellingly in Ramin’s hands”.
