Once again, the actress Parineeti Copra is going to work with her ‘The Girl on The Train’ director Ribhu Dasgupta.
‘The Girl on The Train’, which is a remake of the 2016 Hollywood blockbuster, is yet-to-be-released.
According to The Indian EXPRESS, Parineeti is all set to reunite with Ribhu for his upcoming action-thriller. The ‘Kesari’ actress will be seen essaying the role of an undercover agent who leads covert rescue operation of Indian agents in this yet-to-be-titled movie.
“It is not (set in) an India-Pakistan backdrop. The film has Parineeti as a covert agent, she is leading the operation. The film is also about her personal journey and her revenge,” a source close to the movie’s team told PTI.
The movie, which is being produced by Reliance Entertainment, is scheduled to go on floors in March 2021.
The source further revealed that this movie also features Kay Kay Menon, Rajit Kapur, Hardy Sandhu, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, among others.
The makers are currently in search of the shooting locations and getting permissions amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, ‘The Girl on The Train’ was scheduled to hit the theatres on May 8 this year but was postponed due to the pandemic.
