Irrfan Khan’s Last Movie ‘The Song Of Scorpions’ To Have Theatrical Release; Watch TRAILER –

Bollywood and Hollywood both lost a gem this year as veteran actor Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29.

However, brace yourselves to see the legendary actor on the big screen for one last time!

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh recently announced that Irrfan’s last movie ‘The Song of Scorpions’ would be hitting the theatres in 2021. It also features Golshifteh Farahani, Waheeda Rehman and Shashank Arora.

Directed by Anup Singh, the drama shows Irrfan Khan as a camel trader who falls for Nooran (Farahani), an independent tribal woman who is learning the ancient healing art of scorpion-singing from her grandmother Zubeidaa (Rehman). The story revolves around this young tribal woman, who tries to overcome a brutal betrayal to find her voice.

The movie already had its premiere at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland in 2017. However, now it is gearing up for a theatrical release.

Irrfan Khan was last seen in Angrezi Medium with Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, which released in March this year before the lockdown began.
