The Greek God of Bollywood has impressed one and all with his acting skills and never fails to give an full-pack entertainer to his audience.
However, there are a few films that Hrithik Roshan turned down and these films later emerged as Blockbusters. Let’s have a look at them below.
1- Baahubali
Hrithik Roshan was offered the lead role in Baahubali by Rajamouli. However, Rajamouli does not reveal the full story to the actors unless they commit full-time to the movie and have no other projects going on. Hrithik Roshan therefore rejected the movie as he was not completely told about the role and script.
2- Dil Chahta Hai
Dil Chahta Hai created a major buzz amongst the youth in 2001. The film was written and directed by Farhan Akhtar. The role of Siddharth, which was played by Akshay Khanna in the movie was originally written keeping Hrithik Roshan in mind. However, Hrithik rejected the movie but it turned out to be a massive hit after the release.
3- Bunty Aur Babli
Hrithik Roshan had turned down Yash Raj‘s ‘Bunty Aur Babli‘ as he was too busy shooting for Krrish. Bunty Aur Babli was a huge success at the box office with Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee playing lead roles. Abhishek was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for this movie.
