Bombay High Court Provides Interim Relief To Kangana Ranaut & Sister Rangoli Chandel For Sedition Case

Kangana Ranaut had earlier made statements against the political party Shiv Sena and posted religion targetted derogatory tweets.

A sedition case was filed against Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel on October 17, 2020.

However now a per an ANI report, the Bombay High Court has extended interim relief to the sisters in connection with the sedition charge till January 25

“The high court was hearing the petition filed by actor Ranaut seeking to quash FIR filed against her in Bandra Police station. The court has adjourned the hearing till January 25, giving relief to sisters – Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel from any coercive action against them by police,” says the report.

The court has further asked the complainant to file a response to Kangana Ranaut’s plea to quash the FIR.
