5. Urmila Matondkar
Actor turned politician Urmila Matondkar’s Instagram account had been hacked last December. She had filed an FIR with Maharashtra Cyber, the state police’s cyber wing.
“My Instagram account has been hacked @instagram. First, they DM you and ask to follow a few steps and verify the account and then it gets hacked. Really!? #NotDone,” Urmila tweeted.
6. Amitabh Bachchan
In June 2020, Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter account was hacked by a Turkish hacker. The criminals had replaced Bachchan’s display picture with that of the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and modified the bio to, “Actor… well at least some are STILL saying so!! Love Pakistan”.
It was also mentioned that the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Manjunath Singe, said that the Mumbai Police cyber unit and the Maharashtra Cyber unit were investigating the matter.
