Remakes are the flavour of the season and 2021 is kickstarting with Parineeti Chopra!
Parineeti is all set to headline the Hindi remake of the 2016 Hollywood psychological thriller ‘The Girl On The Train’.
The Hollywood version was based on Paula Hawkins’ bestselling book by the same name. Chopra will be stepping into Emily Blunt’s shoes for the Bollywood adaptation. Check out the official teaser:
Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, this mystery thriller revolves around the divorcee Meera (Parineeti), who’s fixated on the seemingly perfect life of a couple that she observes from afar, during her daily train commute. One day, she witnesses something out of the ordinary which leads to her getting entangled in a murder mystery!
The Girl On The Train also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary. It is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on February 26.
