Kartik will next be seen in Ram Madhvani’s upcoming thriller flick ‘Dhamaka’.
It was earlier reported that the ‘Love Aaj Kal’ actor has been roped in to play the male lead in SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment’s upcoming production venture titled ‘Freddy’. Guess who is going to be the female lead?
Well, according to Bollywood Hungama, it’s KATRINA KAIF. Yes, you heard it right!
While there is nothing official yet, the actress has apparently given the verbal nod, but the paperwork is still to get through.
“The film’s producers have approached Katrina with the offer, and she’s very keen to do it. The role is not only as pivotal as Kartik’s but also in some ways, more important than his,” a source revealed to the portal.
Shah Rukh Khan backing the project is supposedly one of the reasons to make Katrina say yes, as she already has collaborated with the Badshah onscreen quite a few times now.
However, ‘Freddy’ will reportedly go on floors in mid-2021.
