After the success of Simmba, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are again collaborating – this time for the comedy ‘Cirkus’.
With Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma onboard, we already have a fun-filled cast locked in.
Set in the 60s, Cirkus is reported to be an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘The Comedy Of Errors.’ And interestingly enough, for the first time in his career, Ranveer will be seen playing a double role! Now, that’s going to be hilarious for sure.
Now, Ranveer is one helluva of a powerhouse performer so naturally, his remuneration must reflect that. And he’s making quite some dough from Cirkus if Bollywood Hungama’s report is to be believed. The Padmaavat actor has reportedly charged a fee of 50 CRORES according to the portal.
“Ranveer Singh has become one of the most bankable names in today’s time and his market value is on the rise with every passing film. For Cirkus, he has charged an acting fee of Rs. 50 crores, and he is expected to hike his fees with the success of every passing film,” a trade source told Bollywood Hungama.
Shooting in Mumbai, Ooty and Goa, the makers are planning on wrapping up by March. It is expected to be released by August 5, 2021.
