However, Preity’s role in the movie was first offered to Kajol as the audience loves to see Shahrukh and Kajol together on the big screen. Kajol couldn’t take the offer owing to family commitments and the role was given to Preity Zinta. This was a box office hit, with a collection of 580 million INR.
2- Kal Ho Naa Ho
The Naina and Aman from Kal Ho Naa Ho are unforgettable. This was a typical Hindi movie that was humorous and intense, both, in various ways. Although, many people might not know this the role of Naina, which was eventually played by Preity Zinta was first offered to someone else. Yes, the role was first offered to Kareena Kapoor but she was asking for a huge pay which the makers could not give. Preity Zinta subsequently played the role. This movie’s box office collection was 86.09 crores INR.
