Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s movie ‘PK’ broke all the box-office records.
Bollywood heart-throb Ranbir Kapoor made a cameo in this Rajkumar Hirani directorial.
Now, reports have been doing rounds that the ‘PK’ makers are gearing up for the sequel.
While talking to mid-day, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra revealed that they will surely make a sequel in due time.
Not only that, Ranbir Kapoor will be stepping into Aamir’s shoes and will be taking the story forward in the sequel of the much-loved comedy drama ‘PK’.
Talking about the sequel, Chopra said, “We will make the sequel. We had shown Ranbir (Kapoor’s character landing on the planet) towards the end of the film, so there is a story to tell. But Abhijat (Joshi, writer) has not written it yet. The day he writes it, we will make it.”
The producer also revealed that he prioritizes powerful stories over financial gains.
“We are not in the business of making money, we are in the business of making cinema. If making money (was our goal), by now, we would have made six to seven (installments of) Munna Bhai, and two to three (editions of) PK. We seek joy, happiness, and peace over a few crores,” he added.
Well, now, this one is pretty exciting news.
