Since last year, Rhea Chakraborty has been at the heart of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case controversy.
After being arrested in the drug angle of the SSR case, the ‘Jalebi’ actress was granted bail in October 2020.
She was supposed to make her comeback to the filmi scene with the Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi starrer thriller movie ‘Chehre’. However, her name and picture have been suspiciously missing from the film’s newly released posters and teaser.
Fans have been speculating whether Chakraborty has been entirely dropped from the movie. Now, the producer of the movie – Anand Pandit made a vague comment to Midday, “We did not react because we have decided not to talk about Rhea at this moment. We will answer questions regarding her at the right time. At this juncture, there is nothing more I can say.”

Directed by Rumy Jafry, Chehre also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, and Siddhanth Kapoor. It will be hitting the theatres on 9th April 2021. The trailer will be dropping shortly on March 18, 2021.
