After Ludo, Netflix has another anthology in its 2021 slate.
Karan Johar, who had previously brought anthologies like Lust Stories and Ghost Stories on the OTT platform, has now introduced ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’.
It is a 4-part anthology by directors – Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan, Kayoze Irani.
It boasts of a versatile cast featuring the likes of Nushrratt Bharucha, Konkona Sen Sharma, Shefali Shah, Aditi Rao Hydari, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawant, Inayat Verma, Manav Kaul, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Abhishek Banerjee.

“An anthology of four strangely contrasting stories that delve into fractured relationships and unexplored spaces. The stories are set in varied milieus, explore jealousy, entitlement, prejudices, and toxicity that are often entangled within the heart of their relationships. Each story also takes you on a journey where one would struggle with the moral dilemma of what’s right and what’s wrong, as the lines between them get blurred.” – reads the synopsis.
Ajeeb Daastaans is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on 16th April, 2021.
