Bollywood celebs have started vaccinating themselves against Covid-19, but recently Paresh Rawal had contracted the coronavirus despite taking the vaccine.
The 68-year-old singer and composer Bappi Lahiri too had pre-registered for the COVID-19 vaccine on March 17.
2 weeks later, now, Bappi Lahiri has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been admitted to Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai and is being kept under observation.
“Despite utmost precautions, unfortunately, Mr Bappi Lahiri has tested positive for Covid 19. He is under very good & expert care at the Breach Candy Hospital. Bappi dada’s family requests all those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure,” his spokesperson said.
However, his daughter Reema Lahiri Bansal has reassured fans that he will recover and be home soon.
Bollywood celebs like Kartik Aaryan, Aamir Khan, Paresh Rawal and R Madhavan had also tested positive recently. We wish everyone a speedy recovery!
