OMG! Vicky Kaushal Starrer Sam Manekshaw BIOPIC Finally Gets A TITLE!

Vicky Kaushal is reuniting with his ‘Raazi’ director Meghna Gulzar for the Sam Manekshaw biopic.

In 2019, along with the announcement, Vicky’s look as the Field Marshal was released.

Today marks the 107th birth anniversary of the veteran Army officer, and the makers took this day to announce the title of the highly-anticipated Sam Manekshaw biopic. The biopic is now titled ‘Sam Bahadur’.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Vicky Kaushal wrote, “The man. The legend. The brave heart. Our Samबहादुर…On the birth anniversary of Field Marshal #SamManekshaw, his story has found its name. #SamBahadur.”

Produced by RSVP Movies, the movie is based on Sam Manekshaw’s life, who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and the first officer who was given the rank of Field Marshal. His military career spanned four decades and five wars.

Last year, on Manekshaw’s 12th death anniversary, the makers had released Vicky’s second look for the biopic.
