YRF Had To Pay Rs 15,000 To SRK’s Fan After Legal Trouble With ‘FAN’ MOVIE? Here’s WHY!

However, when the movie had recently come out, fans found one particular fact very disturbing which stirred up some trouble for the makers of the film.

Prior to the release of ‘Fan’, a song sung by Nakash Aziz by the name of ‘Jabra Fan’ had come out to promote the film. Of course, it was a major hit with the audience and fans were naturally expecting the song to be a part of the film. Sadly, when the film hit theatres, the expectant audience had realised that ‘Jabra Fan’ was cut out of the movie and was nowhere to be found.

Production house Yash Raj Films had then gotten into legal trouble over this mess. As per a report, a viewer named Afreen Fatima Zaidi from Aurangabad had lodged a complaint against YRF in Maharashtra State Consumer Commission for misleading her and other people/viewers.

The Maharashtra State Consumer Commission had directed YRF in 2017, to pay Rs 10,000 as compensation to Afreen along with Rs 5,000 as a litigation cost.
