During an interview with Vogue, the Udta Punjab actor talked about their first meeting and how he thought they wouldn’t even last for 15 minutes but ended up chatting for seven hours.
Shahid revealed, “The only thought going through my mind was, ‘Here we are, sitting in this room on these two big sofas with nobody else around. Are we even going to last 15 minutes?”
“I’ve never been into movies, which I think was a good thing because following that first chat when we actually got to know each other, it was for who we are…not for who others think we are,” Mira added.
Earlier, Mira had revealed on her Instagram story that she was only 16 when she met Shahid for the first time and even went to a Sufi concert along with their families. However, in 2014 they met again, but this time with the intention of getting married to each other.
In 2015, Sasha (Shahid’s nickname) had broken millions of hearts when he announced his marriage with Delhi-based girl Mira. They often tease their fans by posting their couple pics and videos.
