Bollywood’s veteran actor-politician Paresh Rawal is known for his impeccable acting and unmatchable comic timing.
Recently, rumours went rife claiming that the actor is no more.
A post had been shared on social media saying that the Phir Hera Pheri actor had passed away on Friday (May 14) at 7 am. The post says, “Paresh Rawal Ji, a member of the film industry has passed away at 7am on 14th May, 2021.”
However, the actor himself came forward to debunk the death rumours. Quashing the fake death news, Paresh Rawal gave a witty reply saying that he is not dead but just slept past seven in the morning. Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, “Sorry for the misunderstanding as I slept past 7 am…!”
Paresh Rawal, who had tested positive for Coronavirus in March after getting the first jab of the Covid-19 vaccine, is the latest celebrity to fall prey to death hoaxes.
Recently, celebs like Lucky Ali, Kirron Kher, and Mukesh Khanna to name a few, have also fallen prey to the social media death hoaxes.
