The star-studded highly-anticipated movie casts Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh in key roles.
Now, we hear that popular TV star & Bigg Boss 12 winner Sidharth has supposedly been roped in to play a crucial role in this 3D mythological drama! If this Tollywood.Net report is to be believed, the handsome hunk will reportedly play the role of Meghnad in the Prabhas starrer.
The official announcement is said to be made soon. However, Mid-day earlier reported that Inside Edge actor Angad Bedi was set to play Meghnad’s role.
As per Ramayan, Meghnad was the son of Raavan and Mandodari. He was the prince of Lanka and also the possessor of Indra Lok (Heaven). Meghnad was regarded as one of the greatest warriors and played a key role in the war between Ram and Raavan.
Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram, while Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravana), Kriti as Sita, and Sunny as Laxman in Adipurush.
Meanwhile, the handsome hunk & talented Sidharth Shukla made his Bollywood debut in Varun Dhawan- Alia Bhatt starrer Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which was released in 2014.
