Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma & star cricketer Virat Kohli were blessed with a baby daughter ‘Vamika’ on January 11.
However, the couple has successfully managed to keep their daughter away from the media limelight so far.
While fans & paparazzi have been eagerly waiting to see the first glimpse of the little munchkin, why haven’t Virushka shared any pictures of their baby daughter on social media yet? No worries, Virat Kohli himself has answered the question. Yesterday, during an AMA session on Instagram, a fan asked him, “What is the meaning of Vamika. How is she? Can we see a glimpse of her please.”
Explaining the meaning of Vamika, i.e., another name for the Hindu goddess Durga, Virat explained the sensible reason behind not sharing many pictures and videos of the baby on social media. “No we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice,” he answered.
Earlier, Virat had opened up about the “life-changing” experience of parenthood.
