From ‘Parineeta’ to ‘Kahani’ to now ‘Sherni’– Vidya Balan has always let her work speak for itself.
Now, looks like the actress is all set to start working on her next movie.
If this Peeping Moon report is to be believed, Vidya’s upcoming movie has been titled ‘Jalsa’, and it is not at all related to Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow in Juhu. According to the makers, the title fits perfectly with the movie script.
Reportedly, the film also features Shefali Shah. Vidya & Shefali will be seen playing the central characters who are from two different class backgrounds.
Touted to be a thriller drama, ‘Jalsa’ is helmed by ‘Tumhari Sulu’ director Suresh Triveni and bankrolled by ‘Sherni’ & ‘Shakuntala Devi’ producer Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment.
Meanwhile, the film is expected to go on floors in September this year.
