And if recent reports are to be believed then 2 of her next projects are also going to be remakes of Spanish films. Taapsee is reuniting with her ‘Manmarziyaan’ director Anurag Kashyap for the sci-fi thriller ‘Do Baaraa’.
As per Bollywood Hungama, Do Baaraa is said to be the Hindi adaptation of the Spanish mystery drama ‘Mirage’. Taapsee’s Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati has been locked as the male lead.
The official synopsis of ‘Mirage’ reads – “A space-time continuum glitch allows Vera to save a boy’s life 25 years in the past, but somehow results in the loss of her daughter and Vera must fight to get her back.”
Meanwhile, it was also reported that Taapsee will be paired with Gulshan Devaiah for Ajay Bahl’s next – which is the remake of the Spanish horror thriller ‘Julia’s Eyes’! Taapsee also has ‘Looop Lapeta’ which is the adaptation of German movie ‘Run Lola Run’. She has 2 sports films lined up – ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and ‘Shabaash Mithu’.
