Actress Shilpa Shetty’s businessman husband Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police (Crime Branch) on Monday night.
He was allegedly involved in creating pornographic films and publishing them through some apps.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale told the media, “There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr. Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidence regarding this. The investigation is in progress please.”
Now, alleged WhatsApp chats between Raj & his UK-based associated Pradeep Bakshi are doing rounds on various platforms, which are said to be the ‘key evidence’ in the alleged pornography case.
In the leaked chats, Kundra (admin of the group) and his partners can reportedly be seen discussing the revenue gains, money transactions, and profit-sharing from the pornographic content. Apparently, these chats are date back to October.

According to Live Law, Raj has supposedly been sent to judicial custody till July 23 by the court.
As per the latest TOI report, Rs 7 Crore has supposedly been frozen by Mumbai police from the illegal money that they received in Raj’s case.
Now, speculations are rife that Raj’s wife Shilpa Shetty could also be served a summon by the Mumbai Police in the alleged porn films case, as per a media report. Reportedly, Shilpa is Raj’s business partner everywhere.
