Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja were in London before the COVID-19 lockdown took place and hence have been habituated in the city since 2020.
Sonam recently made her way back to Mumbai but not without netizens rolling out a rumour of her being pregnant.
Sonam, being the sassy and smart person that she is, found a way to shut down these rumours once and for all. The actress took to Instagram and posted a picture of herself sipping tea. What was more interesting is the caption that she put in!
“Hot water bottle and ginger tea for first day of my period,” Sonam writes. What better (and hilarious) way to inform people that you’re NOT pregnant?
Sonam’s recent airport pictures are what started this rumour. Kapoor, who was wearing a flared skirt and a loose blazer, was picked from the airport by daddy dearest Anil Kapoor.
However, after noticing her attire, viewers assumed the actress to be pregnant with her first child. Silly, isn’t it?
Talking about her time in London, Sonam conversed with Vogue saying, “I like the freedom here. I make my own food, clean my own space, shop for my own groceries.“ She also added she liked dressing up at home for lovely home-cooked dinners.
