However, some names are unnecessarily and falsely being associated with the controversy.
Recently, reports went viral that Raj Kundra was planning to rope in actresses like Celina Jaitly, Kim Sharma, Neha Dhupia, Arshi Khan, Nora Fatehi, Gizele Thakral, and Scarlet Rose for the controversial ‘HotShots’ app. These claims were made by model-turned-actress Sagarika Shona Suman.
Sagarika had told TOI –“The list that I shared was the one drawn by the HotShots creative team. It was shared with me by a former official of HotShots. I do not exactly know if these celebrities were approached or not, or when exactly they were approached. It is just that these names were on the list of possible actors for live shows. This was their future plan.”
However, Celina Jaitly’s spokesperson has CLARIFIED that she was NOT approached for HotShots app but Shilpa Shetty’s app JL Stream! They also added that though she was invited, she hadn’t joined hands with that app either!
Celina’s statement to media reads – “Celina was approached for Shilpa Shetty’s app JL Stream, which is a decent influencers’ app for professionals. She wasn’t approached for HotShots; she even doesn’t know what it is all about. Since Shilpa is a good friend of Celina and they share a warm and friendly rapport, she was invited to join.
Celina’s commitments did not allow her to join the app when it was launched. Not just Celina, many other B-town actresses were approached to be part of this app.”

Meanwhile, talking about the other updates in the case – a fresh FIR has been lodged by an actress who claims she was forced to shoot content for ‘HotShots’. And Raj Kundra’s bail hearing has been adjourned to July 29.
