The movie is the remake of the critically-acclaimed 2017 Marathi horror film titled ‘Lapacchhapi’.

Now, we hear that the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actress has reportedly bagged another remake movie. If this Peeping Moon report is to be believed, Nushrratt will reportedly star in the Hindi remake of the popular Telugu movie titled ‘Chatrapathi’.

Nushrratt to reportedly play the female lead in ‘Chatrapathi’ remake

Directed by V. V. Vinayak, Telugu actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas is playing the male lead in this big-budget actioner. The original movie was helmed by S. S. Rajamouli and featured Prabhas & Shriya Saran in the lead.

A source revealed to the media, “Nushrratt watched the original film Chatrapati (2005) and wanted to be part of the super-hit action drama. She felt a film like this would portray her as a commercial actress and give her an opportunity to tread uncharted territory.”

The film, which already went on floors in July in Hyderabad, revolves around the story of a man, who becomes the messiah of the people of a small hamlet where he grows up after being separated from his mother and brother very early on in his life.

However, Nushhrratt is yet to confirm the news.

On the work front, the actress has quite a few movies lined up including Akshay Kumar’s ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Hurdand’, co-starring Sunny Kaushal & Vijay Varma, ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’, and Luv Ranjan’s next.
