WHO Is The Lead For Richa Chadha And Ali Fazal’s Upcoming Production?

Richa Chadha and fiance Ali Fazal recently launched their own production company, Pushing Buttons Studios.

The couple’s first project under this new banner will be ‘Girls Will Be Girls‘ and now as per reports, they have locked in the second project too.

According to Peepingmoon.com Ali and Richa have chosen to produce a web series that is a political thriller series, made on an international scale.

The series will be led by Manisha Koirala who is known for her impeccable performances in 1942: A Love Story, Bombay, Khamoshi: The Musical, Dil Se, Mann, and Lajja.

The yet-untitled series is based on true events with the theme of India’s first Dalit female hero who becomes India’s first woman NSA (National Security Adviser) and later on goes on to become one of the best politicians. It revolves around an influential diplomat whose life changes forever after she’s summoned by the Prime Minister one day. 

The script is in the making and is written by Bishal Paul and Angshuman Biswas and the film will go on floors next year.
