Vidyut Jammwal is all set to woo his fans with his upcoming movie ‘Sanak- Hope Under Siege’.
Directed by Kanishk Varma, the action-packed hostage drama is scheduled for an OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar.
‘Sanak’ marks the Bollywood debut of the Bengali actress-model Rukmini Maitra, who apparently essays the role of Vidyut’s wife in the film. The movie also features Neha Dhupia, Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles.
On September 29, the makers have finally revealed the release date of the highly-anticipated movie, along with a new poster. ‘Sanak’ will be releasing on the occasion of Dussehra– October 15, 2021.
In the new poster, Vidyut is seen holding a baby in one hand and a gun in the other.
‘Sanak’ will have a big clash with Taapsee Pannu‘s ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and Vicky Kaushal‘s ‘Sardar Udham’, which are releasing on the same day on Zee5 and Amazon Prime Video respectively.
According to a Peeping Moon report, the Vidyut Jammwal starrer is said to be the Hindi remake of the critically-acclaimed Hollywood film ‘John Q’.
Meanwhile, Vidyut has already started shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Khuda Hafiz Chapter II: Agni Pariksha’, co-starring Shivaleeka Oberoi.
