Even though Vicky Kaushal-Sara Ali Khan’s ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ is shelved for now, they’re going to pair up for another project.
Vicky-Sara will be seen in Mimi director Laxman Utekar’s next movie. It is allegedly a rom-com with a social message behind it.
As per the latest Peeping Moon report, the two will allegedly play a small-town married couple who wish to have a house of their own, away from the joint family.
How the duo try to get eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to fulfill their dream and the chaos and hilarity that ensues – is what the story is allegedly going to be about. This yet-untitled project will start shooting from November in a start-to-finish schedule in Ujjain and Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.
The portal further reported that Ayushmann Khurrana was reportedly the 1st choice but things didn’t materialize with him and hence Vicky was brought onboard.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the biopic Sardar Udham which is releasing on October 16 on Amazon Prime Video. Sara has Atrangi Re as well as Gaslight with Vikrant Massey.
