Sometime back, Jacqueline Fernandez had been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.
Jacqueline was questioned as a WITNESS not accused. ED was probing the alleged 200-crore extortion racket led by conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
As per previous reports, Jacqueline was among one of his targets. She fell prey to the ploy through Sukesh’s partner Leena Paul. After examining his call records, the agency discovered that Sukesh was allegedly conning Jacqueline through caller ID spoofing from Tihar jail!
“When Jacqueline started believing Sukesh, the conman also started sending her expensive flowers and chocolates as a gift,” ED source had revealed.
It was also being rumoured that another female celebrity was tricked by Chandrasekhar’s cons. Looks like the celeb in question is Nora Fatehi. News recently broke out that Nora was summoned for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate.
As per The Tribune report – Nora and Jacqueline have been summoned as WITNESSES in this case. Official sources told the portal that the two had already recorded their statements and were being asked to come in again for further probe.
