Parineeti Chopra has had an eventful 2021 – with releases like The Girl on the Train and Saina.
The talented actress celebrates her 33rd birthday today. From Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Ishaqzaade to Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, she has come a long way in Bollywood.
But did you know that instead of acting Parineeti actually had a very different profession in mind?
She wanted to be a BANKER. The actress is highly qualified and holds a triple honours degree in Business, Finance and Economics from Manchester Business School, England!
“All my life, I wanted to be a banker. I studied for it, I spent Rs 50 lakh on my education in England, and I was on a loan. When I was unable to find a job, on an impulse I took a decision to book a ticket to Mumbai… and the only reason I chose this city was that the ticket was cheaper than the one to Delhi,” she told the media.
Talking about her acting journey; it’s an interesting story. Parineeti had tried to land a job at the accounts department of Yash Raj Studios. Since there was no vacancy, she got an internship in the marketing and PR department instead! Filmmaker Maneesh Sharma then scouted Parineeti at the YRF office and that’s how she debuted with a supporting role in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl!
Now, Parineeti is still going strong in her journey. She will next be seen in movies like Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Sooraj Barjatya’s Unnchai.
