Today, Bombay High Court heard the bail plea of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drugs bust case.
As per TOI report, his bail hearing will now be continued on Wednesday, October 27 2021. Previously, in the case, there were extortion allegations against NCB.
NCB Extortion Allegations: 25 Crore Deal
Kiran Gosavi’s bodyguard Prabhakar Sail (a witness in the NCB) had claimed that Gosavi had planned to extort ₹ 25 crores from SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani and settle on 18 crores.
It was alleged that 8 crore was to be paid to Sameer Wankhede, (NCB’s zonal director) who is leading the investigation. Wankhede has DENIED these pay-off allegations.
Aryan Khan-Ananya Panday Whatsapp Chats –
As per India Today report, in Whatsapp chats, Aryan Khan talked about buying drugs in bulk from one Achit Kumar. Aryan had allegedly ordered weed worth Rs 80,000 from Achit.

Aryan’s Lawyers Arguments –
Aryan’s team claimed that the star kid was wrongly arrested as there was no recovery or consumption of drugs by Aryan. They argued against the ‘conscious possession’ charge saying –
“Arbaaz Merchant had 6 grams of charas which was recovered from his shoes. Merchant is denying it. It was not in my control, what was found in Merchant’s shoe. Arbaaz is not my servant, he is not under my control, so there is no conspiracy. What somebody had in their shoe or wherever is not my concern.”” Aryan’s lawyer said, as per Bar and Bench report.
As per News18 report, Aryan’s team said that Aryan’s Whatsapp chats are from 2018, 2019 and 2020 and they’re not related to the cruise party case at hand.
Whatsapp Chats between Aryan Khan and Aachit were allegedly about online poker.
His team also pointed out that cannabis was legal abroad – “My case is not of possession or consumption. In US and some parts of the world, cannabis is legal.”
