Rajkummar Rao will be seen in Thappad director Anubhav Sinha’s next.
The film is said to be a hard-hitting socio-political drama film titled ‘Bheed’. It’s jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks.
Bheed will go on floors soon in Lucknow. As per TOI report, the project has allegedly locked its female lead.
The daily reports that Bhumi Pednekar has been roped in for Bheed. Incidentally, she’s starring with Rajkummar Rao in another film as well – Badhaai Do.
The news about Bheed is yet to be confirmed though. Meanwhile, Anubhav Sinha’s thriller Anek starring Ayushmann Khurrana will be releasing in theatres on March 31, 2022.
Bhumi, on the other hand, has movies like Raksha Bandhan and Bhakshak. Rajkummar Rao is currently gearing up for Hum Do Hamare Do release soon. His upcoming line-up includes the Netflix film Monica, O My Darling and HIT’s Hindi remake.
