Did You Know Aditi Rao Hydari Was MARRIED At 21 & DIVORCED At 25?

Turning 35 years old today is Aditi Rao Hydari, who is currently basking in the love she’s receiving for her performance in the Telugu film Maha Samudram.

Although she’s mostly been private about her personal life, there’s one major detail that is resurfacing.

Aditi revealed that she was married to her schoolmate and fellow actor Satyadeep Mishra at the tender age of 21. The two wed each other in 2009 but only five years into the marriage they decided to get a divorce when she was 25. A report conveys that they met when Aditi was 17 and fell in love.

In 2013, Aditi confirmed the news of their divorce and also added that they remain good friends. She says, “Yes, I got married at 21 to Satyadeep, who was a civil servant and lawyer and gave it up to become an actor. I met him when I was 17 and that was my only serious relationship. It broke my heart when we separated, but only the name of the relationship collapsed as we are friends and are still close. For his mother, I am a daughter and for my mother, he will always remain a son. He is much older to me and always teases me about being his child who he cannot get rid of.“

She also mentions that she kept this private and is going to continue doing so. “I haven’t talked about it in the past and there’s a reason I don’t want to talk about it even now. Somehow, I don’t think that discussing personal stuff in terms of which family I come from or where I grew up, all that is not important as actors. We have to be transparent and we need to take on whatever is given to us, and we need not talk about our private life in open.”
