Superstar Rajnikanth had recently received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his stupendous contribution to Indian cinema.
However, the veteran actor had also hit the headlines for some troubling news concerning his health.
During October-end, he was admitted to the Kauvery Hospital in Chennai after a bout of dizziness. It was later revealed that he had to undergo a surgery – Carotid Artery Revascularization.
This procedure is done to restore blood supply to the brain.
As per latest reports, the surgery appears to have gone well, and the actor has been discharged and returned home.
On the work front, he will next be seen in his upcoming film Annaatthe, which is slated to release on November 4 in the theatres.
