‘The Family Man’ creators Raj and DK are collaborating with Shahid Kapoor for his OTT debut.
Shahid will be starring in their Amazon Prime web series along with Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna.
As per previous reports, it was being said that Shahid’s web debut project has been titled ‘Sunny’. But the latest report from Bollywood Hungama begs to differ.
The portal revealed that the web series has been named ‘Fakes’. A source told Bollywood Hungama that Raj and DK had a project called Farzi in mind starring Shahid and Kriti Sanon. But it was put on backburner, unfortunately.
But now, it looks like Farzi is being revived as Fakes web series. Vijay Sethupathi has stepped in for the role that was allegedly going to be played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. This quirky action thriller web series will allegedly consist of 10 episodes.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor will also be seen in the Hindi remake of French thriller movie Nuit Blanche. His next theatre release is Jersey, which will be out on 31st December 2021.
